I suppose this is where I’d put in a picture of myself, but I don’t post pictures of myself online so you can imagine me as the frog in a tutu. Let’s call her Frogomena.

Hi! I’m Bea, the sole contributor and creator of this blog.

I mostly write album reviews and opinion pieces on movies – my two greatest interests in life behind writing, but I by no means am trying to limit the scope of what I will write about. I am unfortunately no professional in any of the areas that I write about, so I’m really using this as a way to practice my writing skills and develop my thoughts on media and pop culture rather than trying to be the next Pitchfork or something. Not that I’d ever be a good enough of a writer to do that.

I know I’m not the best or most consistent writer and this blog is a bit of a mess since I don’t have an editor, but I’ll never get better if I don’t try. Don’t hesitate to contact me either through my email at beadea2946@gmail.com to send me feedback or anything else you’d like to know about me as long as it’s constructive and generally appropriate.

    Oh Hey!! I saw the notifications of several new posts all at once and I thought, someone is definitely up to something, then I finally got time to check it out today, and WOW DAM!!! That’s a drastic aesthetic change, and honestly i like it, a lot!! This looks super fresh, and as an amateur who sometimes makes posts and therefore dabble in some self learnt graphic designs, this is AWESOME. Would love to know your inspirations.

      HEY!! I’m glad you decided to check out the page again I hope WordPress didn’t spam you with updates 😛 I don’t take any credit for the actual aesthetics themselves because I was mostly modifying a template + WordPress functions but damn that was definitely harder than it looks considering my lack of computer knowledge (though I did draw the little frog logo). I’m mostly just a huge fan of the 70s, so this is mostly just the groovy, flower-power style that is currently on the resurgence. Fun fact, I had to customize the colors into a more pastel-palette because the previous brat green was genuinely hurting my eyes when I was writing lol.

        YOU drew the lil frog!! DaM You are multi-talented! Also yeah, it wasn’t much of a spam, just like 3-4 emails, I’ve had worse lol. WordPress is another monster of its own definitely, although this is from my brief time messing with it b4 i learnt a bit of html and css. I like how you said this is already the pastel version, it’s still pretty vibrant and bright for me haha, I do like it the way it is now though, and yes, I am thankful that you decided to change out the eye-burning brat green.
